He previously served as CIO & ISSO at BHEL, a Maharatna PSU with a vast operational footprint. At BHEL, he led critical programs in information security, risk governance, audit readiness, and policy formulation, data protection, privacy, establishing robust frameworks that integrated people, processes, and technology.

Sudipta holds certifications as Lead Auditor and Lead Tutor for ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and ISO 27701, and actively mentors organizations on compliance maturity, cybersecurity posture, and business continuity strategies. He is also Member of the EC-Council Global Advisory Board for CEH(Certified Ethical Hacker)
